Marmotech, S.A.

Marmotech initiated its operations in the year 1991, with the aim to extract, exploit and commercialize Marble.

Our corporation was established following the granted of a mining concession granted by the Dominican government.

Operations were initiated with the extraction of Rosa Reale Marble followed by the progressive establishment of new quarries, such as: the Bohío Concession from where Coralline is extracted and the Marién Concession which allows for the extraction of the Caribbean Blond Stone.

In the year 2000 an international tender is awarded to Marmolería which conferred our company the authority to manage all the assets of the Former Estate Corporation Marmolería Nacional C x A.

A twenty five (25) year leasing contract allowed the exportation of Travertine and Portoro Marble, through the Vicente Noble and Talanquera quarries located in Barahona and Samaná respectively.

Marmotech has embraced a commitment to carry out mining activities on the basis of environmental protection awareness, an approach that has deserved the acknowledgement of our clients.

Current operations are comprised of eight quarries which work on the extraction of Marble, Travertine and Coralline Limestone.

Products and materials are manufactured with state of the art European technology that ensures precision in both designs and cuts.

Marmotech has embraced the commitment to carry out all extraction and processing operations on the basis of environmental protection awareness, an approach that has deserved the acknowledgement of our clients.
